ILLiad issues resolved

All ILLiad issues have been resolved.

Any materials received prior to March 12, 2008 did not have emails sent out to you.
Please check your 'Notifications' and 'Electronically Delivered Articles' on the left side of the Web page in your ILLiad account to see if items have arrived.

If you experience any problems with ILLiad or cannot locate your requested materials please contact Interlibrary Loan.

ILLiad issues

ILLiad has been experiencing some problems and we are trying to remedy these issues.

Current issues:


Password reset using the automated button is not working
(Remedy: Contact ILL to reset password.)

Emails are not going out to in-boxes
(Remedy in the meantime:Check notifications and e-delivery for status on requested materials.)

Open URL link not populating ILLiad forms from WorldCat
(Remedy in the meantime: Submit requests using ILL icon and include ILLiad User name.)

ILLiad Update

ILLiad is now in full swing.

ILL has been working out some issues. Off campus access was not available the first weekend. That problem has been corrected. Please report any concerns or access issues to ILL at Interlibrary-loan@wiu.edu or call 309-298-2761.

You may use the old WorldCat forms to submit requests - be sure to type in your ILLiad user ID in the field provided. ILL will manually add these requests to your account.

The Open URL has been created, unfortunately it does not auto populate the fields in ILLiad. ILL is looking into this issue and hope to have that corrected in the future.

Thanks to all who have been patient and helpful in the transition to the new software.

ILLiad Goes live

Dear ILLians,

I am happy to report that ILLiad is ready to go live. ILL is trying to get the ILLiad links up this morning, February 19, 2008.

If you are still seeing the old forms, you may go a head and utilize them. However, ILLiad links should be in place today, and then you will need to register to submit requests.

Also, when you are searching databases from Worldcat, the ILL icon will no longer work. You will need to press "Submit request to WIU ILL" link. This link should appear near the WIU SFX link and other links.

I-Share requests do not require an ILLiad account. You may still requests materials from I-Share using your ID number.

Urgent NEWS: ILLiad To go LIVE!

Yes, you read the title of this post correctly.

The great news is that ILLiad is going live on February 18, 2008, President's Day!

You will need to create an account, but once you have done that you will not have to enter your address, phone, or ID number again.

Select First Time User's from the Interlibrary Loan Homepage and follow the promptings.

Continue to submit your requests via the old forms until President's Day.

Picku up location has been changed

You will see on your emails that the I-Share pick-up location now says, "Main Circulation".

All items are on hold at the main circulation desk, we are happy to say the emails have been fixed.
